Shipping & Delivery Policy

Farida Floral proudly offers local hand-delivery throughout Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia.

Delivery Information

All arrangements are carefully handcrafted and delivered by our in-house delivery team or trusted courier partners.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, holidays, recipient availability, or unforeseen delivery conditions.

Same-Day Delivery

Same-day delivery is available Monday–Saturday for orders placed before 2:00 PM EST.

Orders placed after the cutoff time will be scheduled for the next available delivery date.

Recipient Availability

By placing an order, the customer authorizes Farida Floral to leave the arrangement in a safe location if the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery.

This may include:

  • Front desk or concierge
  • Reception area
  • Mailroom
  • Porch or doorstep
  • With a neighbor or colleague when appropriate

Photo confirmation and/or delivery confirmation may be retained for proof of successful delivery.

Delivery Confirmation

A delivery is considered completed when:

  • The arrangement is delivered to the address provided at checkout, and/or
  • The recipient, household member, concierge, front desk staff, or business representative accepts the order, and/or
  • Delivery confirmation, photo evidence, GPS confirmation, communication records, or recipient acknowledgment confirms successful delivery.

Incorrect Addresses

Customers are responsible for ensuring all recipient and delivery information is accurate before submitting an order.

Farida Floral is not responsible for failed or delayed deliveries due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Invalid phone numbers
  • Recipient unavailability
  • Restricted-access buildings
  • Failure to answer calls or messages from the delivery driver

Additional delivery fees may apply for re-delivery requests.

Perishable Products

Floral arrangements are perishable products and require proper care upon delivery. Farida Floral is not responsible for damages resulting from:

  • Exposure to outdoor conditions after delivery
  • Delayed retrieval by the recipient
  • Mishandling after successful delivery

Refunds & Chargebacks

Due to the custom and perishable nature of our products, all sales are final once an order has been prepared or delivered.

Farida Floral reserves the right to dispute and challenge any fraudulent or invalid chargebacks for successfully delivered orders using delivery confirmation records, customer communications, recipient confirmations, GPS data, timestamps, photographs, and any other supporting evidence.

By placing an order with Farida Floral, the customer agrees to the terms outlined in this Shipping & Delivery Policy.
